Symptoms & Causes

You start SONbuddy on your device and click OK to configure SONbuddy. After configuration completes, you may receive this error message. This behavior might be caused by an application that is running in your device which has used either of the ports 4168 or 5210 during the configuration of SONbuddy.

Solution

1. Close the running application that uses port 4168 or 5210 either from the system tray or go to your Task Manager by clicking Alt + Ctrl + Del and in the Processes tab, end the application process that is running on the background.
2. Restart SONbuddy.
