Symptoms & Causes
When you try to start SONbuddy, you may receive this
error message or You run SONbuddy from your device and after SONbuddy
finish configuring, you may receive this error message.After you click
OK, the SONbuddy application closes. This behavior can occur when the
license.dat file in the Green Packet root directory is not found.
Warning: If you need
to uninstall the SONbuddy software, please do not manually remove the
files under the installation directory so you can still reuse these files
in the future.
Solution: Reinstall
License (Gold/ Lite License)
1. Restart SONbuddy.
2. When prompted to input the product serial number, enter the 32 character
serial number provided to you together with the SONbuddy installation
package.
3. Click OK to reinstall license.
Note: If you
are using an evaluation license, you will not be able to reinstall license.
